So this has actually NEVER happened to me before, even on my old mbp from 1/2 a year ago. Anyways I have 16GB of ram so I have never had an issue with freezing etc, these couple of days it seems from the processes that are running that kernel is using up more than 9GB of ram which basically has never happened before I do not run ram intensive programs so I am at a lost as to what part of the system is doing this?

I've been running plex media server and plex connect for a few weeks with no issues, however there is a new program called plexify app which automates some things

So unless it's running something under kernel I have no idea what is causing these issues, it is very disturbing because I am also on a new hard drive but that doesn't seem to be the issue the only thing that's running in the red in the graph is the memory....

Is there's a one button thing I can install to free all memory kinda like a jb iPhone? Coz I can't stop kernel processes

Thanks
