My mom is not tech savvy, but she knows about the iPhone from watching the news. So imagine my shock when at a party, a young lady asked what kind of phone I was using. I kind of thought I misunderstood her question. Then she tapped her email into it and I held onto it as she did because anyone who hasn't heard of the iPhone doesnt need to be holding mine.

After I told her that it was an iPhone she said, "Oh, I've never seen one before." Cool, okay. She's from Florida, so maybe the hype wasn't the same there as here in NY? Then she went on to kinda brag about having a blackberry. Ha, okay.

Interesting because this lady was quite young. Have you run into anyone who hasn't heard of the iPhone yet? I thought the novelty had worn off by now in America.

Nope. Everyone i've spoken to in the UK knows about an iPhone. They may not know what it does, but they've heard of it.
