Never received phone today! "Delivery exception"

I've been waiting all day for my phone to be delivered, and now FedEx updates my status to "Delivery exception" "Future delivery requested"!

WTF?!

Just called FedEx and the guy said that my order/phone didn't make it out off the container in time to be delivered. Yet my status shows that it did....

The hub is about a 30 minute drive, so I'm debating if I want to pick it up or wait till tomorrow afternoon for delivery.

WTF?!

was it due today? Reason I ask is because Apple and ATT allowed Fedex to used Future Delivery requested but that was only supposed to be allow to deliver after 1030 commit time to help save service for other non iPhone packages.

If the delivery date is 24th then well that's just wrong. If my couriers takes a package out for delivery they have to make an attempt on it. Not take it out and bring back!

My delivery time has been June 23rd by 5pm.
I just refreshed the status page and now it says "Jun 23, 2010 by 6:59 PM"

It's currently 5:33pm. So maybe they will try delivering it tonight.
