Yes, another mms thread blah blah blah but I have some (sort of) exciting news. As some may know I have had mms working on my phone for a while now. Today I sent some mms messages to my other iPhone friends. At 8am they all got the website links. But later this afternoon they all received the auctual picture in the threaded message. No website links, passwords or anything.

Could this be the start of AT&T enabling mms?

Ugh.
The only sign I thought I saw personally was I am no longer even getting the viewmymessage.com MMSs. Someone has sent me something and I never saw it. I was also sent something this weekend and again ... never saw it. I get texts ok, but nothing even remotely looking like an MMS or a hint that someone tried. Who knows, it's AT&T.

Same is happening for me. My gf has tried to send me MMS for the past 4-5 days and I haven't got a single notification.

I think that when MMS is enabled it will be for all iphones everywhere.

The bigger question is how much will it cost. I think that part of the MMS delay is ATT struggling with how much to gouge the customers. I may just stick with emailing pictures, exciting as MMS on the iPhone is.

Uh, we've seen these before. Peruse the MMS threads at your peril. :)

I just pray that this one is the last one. Everytime I am proven wrong.

The umbrella he's got is really clashing with his handle bar moustache. I see no reason why an elephant would need to carry an umbrella. Its not even raining! Silly elephant.

att has posted it would be free to coustomers with iphone text plans

Nevermind... A wasted thread aparenty my friend misunderstood me. She got the link on her iPhone from my iPhone though.

Sorry guys and girls:eek:

Not exactly. They referred to the 3GS, IIRC. Said nothing about the other iPhones. Also, free as in not costing more for the data. It would still cost the standard $0.30/msg.

there you go

I just sit here laughing with my waterproof and floating iPhone 4G with MMS, free tethering, shatterproof glass, multitasking, screen color calibration, and a slew of other features you mere mortals could only dream of

Then OMG we know something. Except I wish I were eating pizza while figuring it out. :(
