Hi all! Sold my 2015 retina MBP a few weeks back and picked up the new 2017 toucher model - 13". It was fully charged when I closed the lid and put it away in my drawer this morning. I just pulled it out and it felt just a tiny bit warm which was odd. Opened the lid and nothing. Pressed the power button, nothing. It wouldn't turn on. So I plugged in the USB-C cable from my monitor (also charges) and tried again. Nothing. After a few minutes, I got the dotted "resume" bar at the bottom of a grey screen and then my login showed up. What's even more odd, it only had 38% battery left. Doesn't make sense to me.

1 - Why was the battery so drained when the lid was closed
2 - Why wouldn't it turn on with 38% left?

Thanks for any insights!
