New 13 in MacBook Pro or Black MacBook

I am getting ready to buy a MacBook for college and was wonderingabout the benefits to buying the new 13 in MacBook pro over the the older black MacBook. In other words is there a place I can find a comparison of specs between the two.

Blackbooks had the X3100, the new Alu's have the 9400M. If you're doing gaming or photo editing get the new one, otherwise the Blackbook will suffice.

Well, get the new MBP if you can afford, it's better spec-wise in nearly every aspect. But the black MB isn't a bad machine either, still completely usable, if you want to save a little money. :)
 
The new MBP has a MUCH better screen, better integrated graphics (9400M) --I don't know if the Blackbook ever came with it --, aluminum enclosure (much sturdier), and other little things like Firewire 800 and the SD card slot.
 
Well if you were going to buy the black macbook from the refurb store the MBP is only $100 more and comes with a free ipod and printer!
 
I've had both and i cant really see a difference in performance in anything except graphics. If you wanna play games etc. I'd go with the MBP if not the black macbook would be good. They are both awesome computers
 
I've had both too - MBP all the way. Just sold my black for the same price as the new mbp, mainly because my blackbook was out of warranty. Didn't buy app care. The MBP is better for gaming, and you'll love the trackpad.
 
13" MBP is miles ahead of the Blackbook in specs and build quality. But the Blackbook will always be the most stylish :cool:
 
wow you guys are great. I have a couple more questions. Does the blackbook have a 13.3 inch screen as well? Also Im considering also getting the 4gb 1066 MHz thing and the 250 gb serial ata driver for an extra $150?
