Hey guys!

I am thinking about buying a new 13" MBA to replace my 15" MBP with 2.66 Ghz C2D from fall 2009.

How is the performance of this MBP compared to a new MBA? I know the gain of the SSD, but how do they come out in games, converting files etc.?

When do you think the next update for the MBP/MBA will come?

The new MBA be significantly faster-- especially with the SSD.

I know these are benchmarks, but take a look at the performance difference between the older Pro and the new Air:

It's extremely significant. In the real world, you'll also notice the MBA being snappier and more responsive due to the SSD. Also, the integrated HD 4000 graphics in the new Air will be approximately the same speed, if not faster, then the 9600m in the 15 inch Pro.

The next Macbook Air update will likely not be until next summer (June-ish)
