I have to have Leopard installed on a ne 13" mBP. I finally got it to install by using an older MacBook to install via FireWire. Then had to run software update to get Leopard up to 10.5.8. So the 13 MBP will now boot fine, but i do not get a nice apple logo during boot. Instead i see what basically looks like verbose booting.

I tired disabling verbose booting via this link
http://osxdaily.com/2007/03/25/always-boot-mac-os-x-in-verbose-mode/

but that doesn't have any affect.

Thanks for the help.

Just and FYI

To fix this I had to open up System Prefs and go to the Startup Disk and select the hard drive. Don't ask me why but that fixed it.
