I am debating between the new 13inch macbook pro and the 15 inch macbook pro. I have a 13inch now and love how small it is and am worried that the 15 inch will be too big when i go on airplanes and stuff. I noticed that the new 13 inch macbook pros can power the 30inch apple cinema at full resolution. has anyone tried this and if so does it perform well? or am i better off getting the 15 inch macbook which has a better video card.

Thanks,

To be honest, the 15" is probably more suited to powering that kind of resolution.

I'm not saying it won't work, but the 13" would be more suited to 1080p or even 1920x1200.

From Apple's page on specs for the 13"...

Enjoy. :)

In defense of the 15 inch tho i travel with one on planes every week and don't have any problems with it, but i am a smaller person.
Whatever you choose should be fine :)
