New 15" looks washed out - anyone have profile?

Would anyone have a decent color profile for the new 15"? Compared to my old MacBook Pro (late 2006) the new screen looks "washed out". I messed around with brightness and the built-in calibration tools (I know nothing about calibration) and wasn't able to improve it much. I see a 13" has been provided -- anyone have a 15"?

Dumb question: how do you determine the panel type? Not seeing anything obvious in the System Profiler (although maybe I'm looking in the wrong place).

In the Display system preference, select Color, select the profile then open profile. Scroll down and select line 13. You will see the LCD model below.
