Just wondering if the macbook pro 15" Hi-res screens are wide gamut...

i looked all over apples website and they only say "millions of colors" which honestly doesnt mean anything to me... its almost as telling as "dynamic contrast" for TV's...

So does anyone have any proof if the screens are wide gamut?

Interesting. I find the everybody-says-it-now term "wide gamut" even less telling than "dynamic contrast" or "millions of colors" or even just "colorful".

well usually when a manufacturer claims wide gamut, they will tell you what percent it covers...

for example, this dell monitor http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...etail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=224-8284

"100% color gamut"

on apples website, it vaguely says "millions of colors" for the macbook pro's and if its really only 75%, it makes sense why they wouldnt want to tell you that.
