Hi all
So got my new 2015 fully maxed out 15" rMBP. Now its lovely and fast but rather larger than my old 13"
I really wanted the dGPU just incase and spending more than £2k I could get the UK VAT back. So saying me £400 in tax which worked out the same price as the 13" so it seems liked a good idea
But i'm struggling to get used to the size. The 13" is such a nice size
The main reason for the laptop is to pair it to my new 24" 4K monitor at 60hz. But was worried the 13" iGPU would lag
When the 15" is plugged into the 4K monitor the dGPU is used.
I see the 13" uses a different iGPU to the new 2015" The IRIS pro rather than the IRIS 6100
So what is quicker the 2015 13" iGPU or the 2015 15" IGPU ? Which seems to be the same as my old mid-2014 13" iGPU
That old mid-2014 wouldn't do 4K at 60, only 30
I'm just wondering if the 13" would do smooth 4K at 60hz
