My new quad core 15" screams. It's an awesome machine.

But has anyone tried running VirtualBox on these new MacBooks? It's critical for me to run Windows Server 2008 for my work - and changes to the VB settings do nothing.

It literally hangs the whole OS....

Having the same problem

I'm having the same issues. Did you ever figure out a work-around?

Boot Camp

i use virtualbox like crazy. heres what I found, the last stable release i could track down was 4.0.6 you can download it by clicking the previous version thing on the vb website.

another thing, is make sure your comp is booted in 64 bit mode (i don't even know if this is an issue with the newer mbps anymore, or if they just default 64 bit efi), depending on how much memory you are trying to allocate to a vm, you will get a lot of problems if you aren't in 64 bit

but yeah try an older version, i can never get the new ones to work, and even if they do, i've never got the usb to work at all.
