I just purchased at Best Buy today. While installing some updates, I noticed the computer says "Early 2011" model.

Question: This can't be the latest model, right? Is there anything (hardware) I'm missing out on because this version is early 2011 vs. ?

Sorry for the weird question, just trying to figure out if I need to raise hell.

It's called "Early 2011" because the model was released early in 2011 (March?). It's the current model.

Nope your good. That is the last time the MacBook pros have been updated. Think about this; whens the last time you could identify when a pc laptop had been last updated? At least Apple is forthcoming with the info.

Very true. Thanks for the quick responses!
