New 17" PB speakers?

Has anyone heard the speakers on the Rev. D 17" yet? According to the tech specs, it has stereo speakers this time. If I recall that's new?

...I thought the 15 and 17in have always had Stereo speakers... or at least my Rev C 15in has it... dont think my Dad's Rev A has stereo.

I guess my question is, does it have better/bigger speakers than the 12" and 15"? I had always assumed so.
