A new mac convert has arrived, I've just got my new 17" powerbook for school this year. I'm going to be attending college, majoring in graphic design and have just received my new powerbook.
I've got to say I LOVE it.
I've been using a PC for about 13 or more years and I'm a huge power user. I've done networking, programming, web design, built pcs, whatever there is I've done it. I own a 2.4Ghz pentium 4 system which is overclocked to 3Ghz and running a 1Ghz FSB, but now, thats just for gaming because since I've gotten my powerbook, I haven't gone anywhere without it. It's my first mac and I've got to say I haven't had any trouble switching over, it took me about 2 days to get the hang of it and already learn the new shortcuts 'n such.
Anyways my powerbook:
17" 1.5G4
1GB of RAM
128MB ATI-9700
80GB 5400RPM internal, 120GB 7200RPM external
Superdrive
etc, etc.
I've got to say I LOVE it.
