I just got a new uMBP, previous revision, and when I´m using Safari (text zoomed in) and scrolling down the text is left in a "mess".
Lines are cut in half horisontally, one line is on top of another etc. Really annoying.
Why is this happening?
PS I saw it now and again with my classic MBP, but not nearly as bad.
Any ideas?

Any chance you could take a screenshot?

Does this happen in other browsers and does it happen on all websites or just one?

Funny thing, I tried to take a screen shot, but as soon as I drag the screen shot square over the text it turns perfect again.
Maybe this is what I have to do from now on:rolleyes:

I will download Firefox and have a look.

You should try it under the other graphics card, and see if the problem persists. It could be exclusive to just that graphics card that you're using. I'm on the 9400M and I don't have any problem with text zooming in under Safari.

The problem seems to be Safari only. I´ve tried using firefox for a little while now and I have not encountered the same problem.
I restarted Safari, but it´s still there.
I just got this Mac, how do I engaged the "proper" graphics card, just set the preferences to Higher?

When I changed to the 9600 card, the problem seems to dissapear.
I have to say the 9400 can´t be much of a card if it can´t even run Safari properly

When I'm using Pages '09 the lines of text all blur and the top half of the letters becomes distorted, however if I highlight the text it goes away, until I start typing again.

Sometimes I do wonder why I pay a premium for Macs.

I'm using a 13" which only has a 9400 and I'm not experiencing any of the problems you guys are having.
