New 2 Mac - Iphoto Question.

When i drag a picture from my email or a web site and try to drop it in a folder i created (in iphoto) it automatically goes into my events and if i delete it from my events i lose the picture completely, meaning it won't show up in the folder i put it in. I have been looking for a setting of some sort to change that but no luck. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Deleting the photo from events, deletes the photo.

So that mean any pic i wanna save will automatically stay in events?

Yes. I just ignore events, because I don't like them. I keep it on Photos or a specific album.
