Hey guys!

I got my new MacBook Pro 15" 2 days ago.
I bought USB C to USB A adapters on Amazon. Sometimes I can plug in devices and sometimes not. I get a warning message then that says the USB port had to be deactivated due to a high power consumption. But I think that no mouse or usb Stick drains to much power... so it seems to be a bug!

I have no other problems, didn't use migration assistant or Timemachine Backup!

The issue sounds like the adapters, in all honesty. Poor/low quality cables will draw too much power and can even surge back into the port.

I'd suggest getting them returned with Amazon and buying some different ones from a reputable manufacturer. Belkin, Amazon Basics, or genuine Apple (from the Apple Store) would be best. Out of interest, which cables did you buy? Could you provide a link?

This is the article in the US store. (Hope I'm allowed to post it)
