Hi all,

I just got the new MBP 13 inch just yesterday evening. Upon setting it up, I noticed a small white area near the bottom right of the screen where the bezel rubber is located. I thought it was dust but it wasn't. By the image, it almost looks like it's a small foreign object that got stuck during production. Would you guys call this a defect and should I exchange it for another MBP?

Thanks all,
T

That’s really terrible despite being on the edge. I would not accept this screen with a new MBP. If it’s something you can overlook that’s fine but I would definitely send it back.

send it back for sure. You can accept its existence maybe for 1 or 2 days but everyday when looking at your gorgeous screen in a new MBP, you will hardly find it acceptable

Just been to the Apple Genius Bar and they suggested to replace the machine instead of repair. Will go to my seller tomorrow and get a new machine.
