new 21" iMac graphics

So apparently Apple is no longer offering an option for dedicated gpu for 21" iMacs. Is this because the integrated graphics on the new release is actually faster then previous dgpu and thus still an update? Or... has the new 21" line up took an backward step altogether?

for the non-retina it is more of a sideways step - the iris 6200 is markedly better than the last integrated model, and at least on par with the GT 750M that was an option (they tend to trade benchmark wins).

on the retina model though it can only be seen as a significant step down from the dedicated cards the 27" models have.
