New 30-pin cables with the iPad

Not sure if this was covered yet, but I figured you guys would like to know. It looks like Apple changed the 30-pin dock connector to a longer (fray protector?) cable and changed the color of the metal on the connector to white from a dark grey. I know a lot of people had issues with fraying on the older cables so that change should help.

Haha same here only took the iPad out of the box... I'm charging with my original iPad's charger.

These have been making the rounds slowly. Some people got them with their iPhone 4, others with the 4S.
