My friend gave me his 360 because it RROD'd on him. It's been a year since he used it, so I took it, and today I fixed it, by just formatting the hard drive after taking the HDD out.

So now my question is, is there any way I can burn games and play them, without installing a mod of any kind?

I heard of Flashing, I don't know what it is.

I've searched google high and low, but I can't get a clear answer on anything really.

You won't get an answer to that question here.

MacRumors frowns on anything condusive to piracy.

I'd suggest you keep googling, and maybe read the forum rules in the interim.

You've searched Google but missed sites that sell games like Gamestop, eBay, Froogle etc? That's where you should be going.

Now that I think about it... I could have used the b2g1 Best Buy deal... I bought Borderlands on Saturday, and I've got Forza 3 and Ratchet and Clank pre-ordered (they come out tomorrow). But whatever, they would probably have sold out, or not allowed brand new games in the sale.
