I don't know if this was there before, but it certainly wasn't on my white MacBook running the latest Leopard (10.5.7) and all updates installed. My MBP 15" has this new section that lets me know the battery percentage of my Mighty Mouse and Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. I remember that wasn't there on my MacBook when I used those two bluetooth devices with it.

That's actually a very useful addition. It's a pain, right now, to go to System Preferences and having to look it up through the Keyboard and Mouse tab.

Not showing up for me unfortunately, just the disconnect and keyboard pref options. Any clues as to how you activated it, definitely would be useful!

I've noticed this only appears on the new unibody MacBook/Pros. My white MacBook doesn't have this. Maybe because the older MacBooks have Bluetooth 2.0 and the newer have 2.1? It's definitely not an add-on/plug-in, in case you were wondering.
