Hi All-
My software updater recently announced a new Adobe Reader for PDF's which I acknowledged and proceeded to download. Once on the desktop I was forced to use the "check if your computer meets requirement for installation". I get the reply this software can't be downloaded on your computer. Thats it , can't force it to load.
I had this problem with Leopard and I was tipped off about the software to fool the installer to think my iMac was a more recent version and it loaded perfectly & runs great. I had my iMac upgraded by a third party Apple cert. company(see upgrade in sig).
I believe this is the same problem, anyway to trick Adobe to think I have a more current computer is there some similar software?
I never thought that I'd have these problems, never ocurred to me, it's really not worth it. When I max this system out I'm going BIG... yet I think I may be able to milk a couple more years out of it.
TIA
