New AE vs AEBS(gigabit)

I purchased an AEBS(gigabit) but after 2 weeks returned it for constant drop-offs. Many others had this problem. If anyone starts getting the same problem with the new AE (811n) please advise.

Are you referring to the AirPort Express (APX)? More than likely the dropoffs are due not with the basestation, but with your computer. There are several threads relating to connections issues with AirPort (n) computers on a variety of networks, and ways to fix the issues, mainly by trashing your AirPort preferences and restarting.
