New Air Models Selling Out !

My guess is that sales are tremendous.
I was looking to buy an Air online at the US Apple store. I noticed that Next Day delivery was not given as an option, only Standard and 2-3 Business Days. I then checked MBPs and Minis. Next Day was available for all of them.
It was also curious to note the differing shipping costs between MBA and MBP for the base models.
2-3 Business Days $10 for MBA, $15 for MBP, $10 for MM
Next Day $18 for MBA (when available), $23 for MBP, $16 for MM
The box weights can't be that different between the MBA and MBP.

I hope it wasn't due to forum members exchanging multiple times until they got a Samsung Display or a Samsung SSD 
When I was in the Regent Street, London store last week they were running low on the standard config 11" and 13" i5s, but had a couple more i7s variants available.
I called my local store in Southlake, TX on Friday for the i7, and I was told that they had them in stock. I stopped by two hours later, and they were sold out of that model. I went back the next day at noon and picked one up. The Fort Worth store said that they had plenty of all models last Saturday.
Call ahead, might have had another shipment today.
Or just order online, Id bet it will be backed up soon as well.

Getting mine today, may just have to stop by if I get a Toshiba SSD.
Yea Apple stock was so cheap when I was in high school too. If only I had spent money on their stock instead of college! Would have been a millionaire now!
