New Airport Due Soon?

Does anyone have any info on when the new Airport is due out? Could it possibly be out this week for MWNY?

Also, is the technology that it will use sorted out as of yet?

Microsoft plan to accounce some sort of Wireless networking in the next few days, if they were to launch 11mps and apple were to upgrade to 54 (or similar) it would help put another blow into them

I've heard that Apple may wait for a few months or more until they revise Airport - one of the selling points is its range, and 802.11a (the current high-speed standard) loses some of that range in exchange for the performance. 802.11g isn't out yet, but it has speed AND range; Apple would probably prefer to move to that to avoid looking like they're taking a step backwards.
