I just got an airport express and set it up to extend my network. I have fibre internet which connects to a router supplied by my ISP downstairs. In my room I have the express, I just set it up and the light is a solid green.

But none of my devices are detecting the express. In fact my MBP is still showing its connected to a 2.4GHz channel and the wifi reception bar is not 100% because its still connected to the main router downstairs.

The express is not showing up on any devices. what do I do?

thanks

i just did a google search and apparently the express is not compatible with extending my Technicolor TG852n router. even though my other existing netgear 3000 is able to extend it...
thanks
