Please excuse my ignorance on this matter but I've been spending the last 3 hours trying to get the Airport Extreme and the 300T to work together.

I've set the modem up first, independantly of the Airport and all is fine. DHCP is turned on and issuing addresses in the 192.168.1.x range

When I configure the Airport, I set it's DHCP to be in the 172 range and I see my IP address and DNS servers from the ISP listed and the status light on the front turns green (successful connection)

However I am unable to display any web pages, even though it says I am connected. After about 2-3 minutes the green light changes to flashing orange and says it cannot establish a connection.

I've search this forum and can't find an answer to this question so if someone knows what I am doing wrong or knows of a step by step guide to configuring this I would be forever in your gratitude

Thanks
Neil

I'm sorry for the lack of clarity, I was tried :)

I connect to my ISP using PPPoA, using username and password on the ADSL modem.

In the Airport it is set to

Connect Using: Ethernet.
Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

Should I be using PPPoE?
