Never Ender
Hey guys,

I just moved into my new home, and I decided to dump my Linksys WRT310N for an Airport Extreme. It is the new version (V: II) and I have installed all updates. I am having issues though with the signal. I am currently using the 2.4GHz band only because the 5GHz band does not go more than 20 feet before the speed cuts out and is out of range. So I am running 2.4GHz on channel 11, and there are no other networks around me. I am sitting less than 5 feet away from the router and iStumbler is saying that I have 64% signal and 9% noise. Why? I have tried every channel and 11 seems to be the best bet. I move upstairs and the signal is less than 30%. A move farther away and it is totally out of range. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have outside of a cabinet, there are no phones hooked up or anything. I do not want to buy an Express to extend the range yet. 5GHz is a joke, it is worse than the 2.4GHz band, and every computer I have is n-enabled. Any tips?
