New Airport Extreme vs Old

Could someone spell out what the benifits of the new 'n' wireless network are.

So far, as I understand you get:

More range ( not really an issue in my mid size house )


Faster data transfer - also not really an issue as I'm not sending / sharing large files wirelessly.

Is that it, or am I missing something???

Also the option to connect an external hard drive and access it on your wireless network or anywhere in the world if you set up your Airport Extreme to allow that.
