New Airtags next week?

Airtag prices have dropped a little here in the UK. A sign of new ones next week???

Amazon Germany had 4 tags for €77 Absolutely gutted as I just missed out in the deal.

What about the alternative ones such as those by eufy? As far as I can see they offer the same " find my " facility but at a far lower price as they're often on offer on Amazon.

effectively third party findmy devices are 'airtag lites'.

they operate almost identically minus form factor and lack of gyroscopic sensors for motion detection and UWB radio for precision finding.

Yes, eufy currently 24 quid for a 2 pack on Amazon UK, sometimes cheaper.

I got 4 for $65 USD last year. I went to buy replacement batteries for a few of them last month and they accidentally sent me an entire AirTag for FREE! Didn't charge my card and it doesn't show in my purchases but the package did have my name.....got refunded for the batteries they never sent yesterday....one of the weirder experiences I've had with Amazon lol

Yeah but you don't get precision finding. That said I have tried a few different ones and they work pretty good especially for things that really don't need precision tracking.

€65 is a smashing proce.

I was tempted to hold tight till black Friday, but did need at least 1 tag immediately, so didnt mind spending the £80.

Yeah it was $65 USD so that's actually really really cheap lol. I love these little things they have helped me sooo much in terms of not losing important things.

Anyone else harvesting the airtag data so you can plot it on a map to the history? Wondering of airtag 2 will work with my app.
