New alu Macbook vs old Macbook Pro

Hi

I pretty much know all the differences between the old Macbook Pro and the new aluBook. I like the bigger screen and nicer look of the old MacBook Pro, and don`t really like the glossy screen of the aluBook.

But; I have a big concern about the old Macbook Pro and the fault in the Nvidia graphic cards... Is it a risk to buy the old Pro (2,4 Ghz) because of this? Was this fault fixed in newer versions of the Pro or is it still present? Do you think the new aluBook is a "safer" buy?

I think it depends on the build date of the MBP. Prior to this september you're in trouble; after that, you should be Ok.

Agreed. I think its all based on build date.
