I found the 6+ very slippy

I find my 6s+ less so, like it has more friction or grip in hand. Nobody has reported this but it feels better in hand, despite being slightly heavier it feels more robust too.

I felt the same. The 7000 Series aluminum is one of the most underrated improvements this gen IMO.

I'm sure the surface finish has more to do with it than the alloy of aluminum being used...

They depend on each other. This series of aluminum needed a thicker anodization process.
