Hey Guys,
I co-created this aluminum bumper case for the iPad 2 & 3 and it just launched on KickStarter. Wanted to get everyone's feedback on it.

Yeah looks real good and clean, simple. I like the looks of it. Would like to see a full on view of the back.

Possible concerns:

1. Scratches around the iPad at all points of contact.
2. Weight
3. Opening for 30 pin connector looks a little tight.
4. Volume opening seems to be blunt and unfinished compared to the overal rounded finished shape of the bumper I.e. sharp edges.
5. Major dust traps, way to many openings (gaps around openings).

Other than the above I think it's a slick idea.

I'll be honest, it isn't good enough design wise. And sadly, I personally don't see how you would reach your funding goal with that design. I know I'm all negative, but there's still time to change your design I guess :) Make it more up to today's standards. You're missing the point, that isn't true bumper.

My point:

It looks rather odd around the opening for the volume buttons and at the bottom around the dock connector. Nice idea but too thick for me
