Hi all
I have been reading the forum for a bit (lurking)and it got me motivated to dig out my old Color Classic and fire it up. It still works great and I managed not to lose or give away most of my old software. I also keep a box full of my old apple II games from back in the eighties along with an Apple IIe emulator card that I had picked up when I sold my IIe and got the Color Classic.
The card and cable were still in the original box, but the IIe start up disk as gone MIA? I have used a Microsoft PC for work and home now for years so that is my internet access. I have the original 7.1 OS on the CC which does not have the PC file exchange ability ( if I remember right?).
Now I could hang out on Ebay and wait for OS 7.5.X on 3.5 disk to show up for sale, but I am pretty happy with leaving the leaner 7.1 on the CC. Is there any way that does not require a degree in computers that a less knowledgable guy like me can transfer the IIe start up disk image from the Apple website from my PC to the old Mac?
Any ideas or help appreciated!
