I think that only on the space grey and the white silver is not anodized

The gold is anodized, but it's with the new process they used with the slate that reduces the number of scratches, and the scratches won't be as visible due to the lighter color

It is ABSOLUTELY possible to color and/or change the properties of a metal to change it's color, and Gold is one of those colors, without being anodized. This certainly isn't "Gold" like jewelry. It's a shade of Champaign.
