Has anyone else noticed how slow the new App Store app in iOS 6 is?
Specially when browsing your Purchased apps, it takes forever to display the apps and another long wait to display their icons for just one screen (about 18 items per screen). And the wait continues as you scroll down.

Considering the app has to query data from iCloud to display my purchased apps, plus the fact that iCloud has been slow lately in preparation for tomorrow, I'm optimistic about this issue going away very soon.

If this is a problem with the actual app, i certainly hope it will be fixed by tomorrow, when it officially launches.

Not sure if this happens to be for having over 1200 apps, but I would like to hear your feedback to make sure I'm not the only one having the problem.

It is. We're all hoping it will be fixed by tomorrow.

Well, at least I'm not alone in this one.
I think the App should cache purchases, so it doesn't have to pull these from iCloud every time you browse. Imagine how much of your data plan gets consumed every time you try to browse your purchased apps!
