New Apple Extreme File Transfer Speeds

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone who has there new extreme "n" version base station can help me answer a question about file transfer speeds locally.

I want to wire up my 750gb external hard disc to the base station & pull files off its hard drive wirelessly to my new Macbook Pro around the house.

Does anyone have any realworld time test / experience with transferring a 1gb file over its (extremes wireless)?

Thanks for taking a look & any experienced answers on this topic.
