Don't know if its true but in my old work (electrical retail store), MM and wireless keyboard has gone to 'end of line' pricing. so say its 49.99 the .99 on the end means its current line. its gone down to 49.95 which means end of line.

Anyone else heard anything?

I got sick of my Mighty Mouse and eBay'd it and bought a Microsoft Mouse. In bootcamp everything is smooth as silk but on OSX the tracking sucks. I'm debating whether to go buy another Mighty Mouse. When I was searching I noticed NewEgg had it cheap and when I followed the Google Shopping link it was listed as discontinued. I dont know if there's a new model or maybe they're getting sick of returns and customer complaints. Hopefully when Apple does get around to updating the mouse they'll knock it out of the park this time instead of fixing things that weren't broken (like having only one button).

How about a Might Mouse with a scroll ball that doesn't get dirt trapped in it so that you don't have to clean it out every day...just a suggestion. Other than that, I like the Keyboard/

Haven't cleaned mine in months. I played Sims 3, NFS, and I'm on the computer almost 24/7. Dirt will be trapped no matter what, it's just a matter of how much resistance the scroll ball puts up with until it doesn't function. Having a bigger wheel, therefore greater surface area, will decrease the chances, which is why the MX doesn't have much of a dirt-clogging problem.

Hopefully they do update the keyboards and mice, the new colors seem to be aluminum/black, not aluminum/white.

I havent heard about this but I do think a new universal dock for the ipods is coming. They clearance at best buy and a store in the UK.

You might be able to transplant the keys from a MBP to the aluminum keyboard. Next time I visit the Apple store, I'll have to see if that would work.

If you want a black mouse, mask it up and get some black Krylon.
