Having taking a look at the refurb store on a daily basis, the mighty mouse and the wireless keyboard were ALWAYS priced at £41. However, i've just looked on the refurb section and the price has come down to £38.17.

Although this is pure speculation, these signs hint that they are clearing inventory for a refresh possibly?

Don't think a small price decrease in the refurb store indicates a refreshment.

The 24" Cinema Display came down in price in the refurb store recently too.

Well - see thats the thing, its been priced for £41 for the past few months i.e. well over 8 months. For the price to come down now (even a teeny wee bit) suggests that they may have something in the works.

:D

While I would love to see a black redesigned mouse and a keyboard with black keys - I would think the earliest we would see it is when the revised iMac is introduced.

The inventory and pricing at the refurb store have absolutely nothing to do with new product releases. It's purely a function of what systems have been returned to them at any given point in time, and changes several times a day.

Not sure how 'now' has any significance. If you mean for the 9th September, well, then they could reduce the price on the 9th September.
