New apple moto phone killer app to be podcasting?

I was thinking about it, and many probably thought of this already. Wouldn't it make sense for a key feature of the cell phone to be recording podcasts in your spare time. I guess podcasting may end up being the new blog. But I don't think people feel as confident in publishing something when it actually has something as personal as their own voice. Just an idea. I am in the market for a new tmobile cellphone. Any tips on which phone to get? I have had bad luck with motorola. T mobile doesn't have much of a selection, but nay advice would be cool.

Moto make crap consumer phones and indestructible business phones. We'll have to wait for the intro to see if Apple were able to nudge Moto into building the latter style.
