I'd like to be the first to say - Way to go Apple!

My new top end configuration is now under 7k and that's with 2 20" LCD monitors! A day ago it would have been much more and harder to justify. I'm really glad to see that the prices have come down considerably.

Now I'm not going out and buying this yet - I'm still waiting around for the new IBM 970s, but it just makes me feel so much better know that I'll be getting more for my money.

You're not kidding, the 23" Cinema is only £1699!!!, with the educational discount from the Uni, that makes the new 20" UNDER £1K

I was very pleased to see the new 17 PB com in cheaper than the older model, lets hope this is a trend.
