Hey, today I was on Apple's employment page and I couldn't help but notice something. When I went to the page for the Specialist job this came up

I also found a listing for the same position on the fairview mall site!

I think Apple IS opening another store here in Toronto!
WOOT!

Lucky you.

My question is, why does Toronto need four Apple stores, while the rest of the country has four in total. Apparently only people in Toronto need/use Macs?

Oh well, it will give me a new place to visit the next time I'm out east.

They need 4 stores so they can plan when to call the Army out next time it snows ;)

I consider myself lucky when it comes to Apple Stores, one's 15 minutes away and another is 30, I live in Pittsburgh. Some people I know have to go up to 3 hours to get to one.

wow! this is so exciting (i live like 5 minutes form fairview mall).
looks like ill be sending out my resume! :)
now just need to know when its opening so i can be there!

also i guess i'm lucky too since apple stores at yorkdale is 10 min drive, eaton center is 25 min subway, and now if tru - farivew is 5 min drive.

Yeah it boggles my mind too.

And it's not even like those 4 stores are dispersed, they're all very close to each other. Like at max 30 mins from one another. I think they should spread out to the suburbs more to places like Mississauga, Richmond Hill etc.

Also I posted this same thing on EhMac.ca and they said that this was old news :| Since when? I've been on these forums for a while and have never heard anything about this before.

EDIT: I posted a higher-rez image as the old one was kind of hard to read.

yeah i applied to apple like almost a month ago, and i got invited to a interview seminar (so to the guy that wanted to send in an app, it might be a fully staffed store when it opens) for the fairview store, so i hope i get the job...

i read around that it was opening sometime in november, so hopefully they put the people that are hired in a different store in the mean time before the new store opens.
