New Apple store in Wisconsin soon?

Looks like there is one coming at West Towne in Madison.
 
I was in West Towne Mall just last week and the store is under construction. I think its opening date will be this summer, maybe around June to coincide with WWDC? Bout time! :)
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they closed the Mayfair store - despite all the new renovations and policies, it's still full of problem kids/teens which keep some people from shopping there.

I wouldn't be either. Mayfair, unfortunately, has started to take a turn downward. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they "moved" the store to Brookfield Square or Southridge. Mayfair has been "the classy shopping experience", and I think that Apple Store has contributed to that. But it may be time for Apple and Mayfair to part ways due to the latest happenings.

I've been there since all their new policies went into effect. It didn't seem like there were as many little thugs around but even when there were, no one was looking for trouble. Except for an idiot or two with a gun.

The Apple Store does add to the class of the mall, and it's really not that bad of a place. But all that being said, I'd really rather camp outside of Bayshore to get my iPhone.
 
lol i just went to look at apple retail and there is one at bayshore, its grand opening is on friday june 29th at 6 PM does that date and time mean anything:confused:

oh yea... *light bulb goes on* now i remember
well i would go to the grand opening but the place is going to be a mad house.

As I live basically next door to this store (I can walk there in a few minutes) I will let you know how much of a mad house it will be when I check it out of Friday!

I do not care about the iPhone though, I'm waiting for the new iMacs and Leopard.
 
Yeah, I stumbled on the construction in West Towne Mall a couple weeks ago. I recently moved to Madison and have kept to the east side mostly. I was pleasantly surprised! Any idea when it's gonna open?
