Is anyone else having problems with the newest Apple TV 4K? I don't know if this is an issue with the latest tvOS or with the newest Apple TV hardware, since I upgraded both at the same time. I've been using Apple TV since 2017 and this is the first time I've had significant problems. It started with my Bose QuietComfort 35 headset randomly disconnecting, even though it's still shown as being connected and I haven't done anything to change the connection (i.e. connecting to another device). I'll turn the headphones off, and then five minutes later they won't play sound. Everything is still shown as being connected, and if I try disconnecting or select "forget device" and then reconnect, it still doesn't help, but it will randomly reconnect later.

I've also been unable to connect to apps, with Paramount+ the most recent problem. Everything will be working fine, I'll press pause, and then when I press play, I'll just get a spinning wheel that never ends. My internet connection is rock solid, so I don't know what is causing all these basic problems with playback and Bluetooth connection.

Edit: it’s not just Paramount, I’ve also tried HBO Max and Prime Video. Everything works fine until you select a video, and then it’s just the endless spinning wheel and the “something went wrong“ message.

It might just be the new tvOS 16.2. Updates to tvOS often make changes that break existing apps, or parts of those apps. I'm having a lot of trouble with Philo TV app under tvOS 16.2 on my ATV 4K 2022, and I get issues with that app quite a bit following a tvOS update. So it might just take the app developers a while to adjust their apps for the changes made in tvOS 16.2.
