Today I received my new Apple TV. It's typical packaging from Apple and , it's very nice. However when switched on it was all in Mandarin. Took sometime getting my native English On the big screen. At this point I was feeling very annoyed that it took half a hour to get right. Once in English every now and again Mandarin can back to bite me.
I had to use my old ATV remote as I could the new one did not work. Once English was Woking I this issue Was sorted.
Then the login, all those accounts, which just did not login.... And a bit more Mandarin to boot.
Ok, when it did work yeah it was good. I download a few games, and ok it's not a games console but it does a good job. The new remote works well very quick no lag here.
I really like the Apple Music set up. This works well, however I really think the movie set up stinks if you run your own films I think it's a big over sight, the Plex App works well and bets Apple at there game. The main interface looks nice, very happy with it
I don't want to be over critical but when you spend money it should be right, this almost falls short. I really want to say how good it is, yes it much better than the last ATV but in some way I'm disappointed with it. I hope in time it gets better.
