New Apple Watch and "Health" Data/App

I upgraded from an AW7 to the AWU2 and in the health app there's a section for "devices" if you click on your profile.

I see a list of old devices I no longer have (going back two years or so). I deleted those (all were iPhone). I still see my AW7 there, but if I click on it, it says the device is no longer paired. There clearly is data there, as it has a long list of stuff. My question is, can I safely delete/remove this "device" or will it remove all of the data that was stored (like my sleep for the past year, exercise, ring stats, etc.)?

If this isn't the correct forum to post/ask please let me know where I can, or mods please move as needed.

Thanks.

I am 99% sure that if you delete those, then the associated data will also be deleted. My advice, unless I’m corrected, would be to leave it as is. That’s exactly what I do on mine. I don’t want to lose any of my historical data.

I say this because when I deleted some devices years ago I lost the associated data.

100% correct, unless you want to loose the historical data linked to those devices leave them well alone

Thanks; leaving it alone then.

I have data going back to my original OG launch day Apple Watch. I'm just leaving them all. I don't know they're all there unless I go looking...

Yep, deleting those entries will delete all data associated with them. I have data since S0, so 8 years sum up to 2.7GB on my iPhone but compress to around 480MB in iCloud…
