$100 price increase from AC+ but covers theft and loss. I’m assuming they just deactivated the claimed phone when giving you another.

Pretty neat!

Some might see some value in this
 
I'm getting the regular Applecare+ this year and playing the odds. I've never had a phone stolen or lost one. It's a good feature of the enhanced Applecare+, though, and I can see why people would want it.

The question here is how many replacements will Apple allow for lost/theft? There's got to be a max.

I’ve never even owned ac+ on an iPhone or regular ac. I feel like im getting clumsier tho and that might make sense In the long run. Even if I don’t you can get prorated refund from Apple / but it helps with resell and stuff too

I skipped Applecare+ on my X last year, but I want it this year. Sold my X in mint condition on Swappa.

I've sold iPhones before and transferred the remaining Applecare+ to the new owner. They appreciate that.
